Wanting a photo to have a classic artistic touch is not difficult if you follow some simple steps

Equipment

If you are one of those that love photography and art but don’t want to spend too much money, choose the right but not expensive equipment. You don’t need to pay that much to achieve artistic photos.

Angles And Light

Try to shoot during the first and last sun hour, the sun gives such amazing effects then. Natural light is the best light source, so keep that in mind at all time.

Creativity

Play around, be creative and spontaneous. You will never know when a good picture opportunity will pass. Go around with your camera in the park or at the zoo and practice. But always have respect for people if they refuse to be in your photos.

Black And White

The good old black-and-white effect. This is something that will never go out of fashion, it will always be great to take B&W photos. It immediately gives awesome artistic flavor for your pictures. Black-and-white images combine black and white in a continuous spectrum, producing a range of shades of gray. Black and white photography is the oldest style of photography. Every photograph that you can think of, has the potential to be black and white

Soft Focus

For soft and tender moments the soft focus effect is the best. Don’t use it in photos with a lot of action, it will only look weird.

Software

Use Photoshop or Lightroom to fix your photos, give extra brightness, contrast, or whatever it may be.To adjust the brightness of your image manually or to fine-tune the results of the Auto button, use the six sliders in the Light panel. These sliders control different tonal ranges, but they all work in the same way. Dragging to the left reduces light and dragging to the right increases light.
